A birthday is a perfect opportunity to share your love and affection. Show her how much you love her, and remind her how sexy she is with one of the sexy birthday gifts her heart will flutter over.
Jewelry
Every woman knows jewelry helps you feel and look sexy. Whether it's a diamond-encrusted heart pendant, a gold anklet or charm bracelet with special-meaning charms, your woman will thank you again and again for the thoughtfulness behind a gift of jewelry. To some jewelry might seem frivolous, but to a woman in love, a piece of jewelry from her man is indicative of a true piece of his heart.
Gift Baskets
Other sexy birthday gifts her heart will thump over are gift baskets filled with her favorite things. Is she a big fan of chocolate? Order (or create your own) various chocolates based on her tastes. Perhaps she adores hazelnut chocolate, dark or even white chocolate, take the time to notice and the generous thought will come back to you threefold in the future. Adding items to the chocolate gift basket such as teddy bears, jewelry, lingerie or self-made "coupons" ensure her birthday will be one of the sexiest ever.
Perfume
Perhaps it has been overdone in the past, but perfume truly can be a unique and wonderful gift for the woman in your life. If you take notice of what she likes, the thought will be especially appreciated. Does she pick up the bottle of CK every time you enter the mall? Surprise her with it for her birthday. Perhaps she adores woodsy, earthy scents, ask the salesperson for a new scent based on what you know. Or perhaps try something different. You might find something you love and would love to smell on her, oftentimes spontaneous gifts such as these are perfect.
Lingerie
Lingerie is among the sexy birthday gifts her heart will adore, and so will yours. Sure, you can go to the big name places like Victoria's or Fredericks, but did you know you can also find lingerie at regular department stores, and many times they will be much less expensive - which allows you to purchase more! Keep in mind her body type and how she feels about her body. If she isn't comfortable showing lots of skin, be thoughtful and present her with a lacy or silky robe. It is also best, if possible, to obtain her measurements so you can be sure to purchase the right size. Take your cues from what is in her closet already, what she prefers to wear, and what she might have noticed in the past.
A Day at the Spa
Another of the sexy birthday gifts her heart will adore you for is a day at the spa. There isn't a woman alive who doesn't enjoy a day of pampering. Provide her with enough for a massage, perhaps a manicure and/or pedicure, and your woman will sure to reciprocate the kindness. In today's stressful world, there isn't a better gift around to show her how much you love and appreciate her.
The best pet bird for you purposes if you have a lot of time to spend will likely be one of the larger varieties such as parrots, macaws or conures, or a cockatoo. These are larger varieties of birds which are good companions and great at interacting and are super pets if you have the time to invest in them. The best pet bird for someone with some extra time will be the larger variety.
These types of birds can easily be taught to talk to you if you have the time to spend with them. They are easily cared for, require some attention to detail but can spend some time alone if you are someone who is gone a great deal of time during the day.
Medium sized birds that might be on your list of the best pet birds, depending on the time you have to care for them are the Lorikeet, peach faced love bird, cockatiel, African Grey Parrots, or one of the other medium sized parrots. These too require minimal care, other than climate, health and regular feeding and watering, however they can be taught tricks or to talk if you have more time to spend with them.
The best pet bird for you will depend on how much time and energy you want to invest in your relationship with it. Parakeets, Lorikeets, or finches require only clean surroundings, and regular feeding and watering. They are fairly low maintenance and don't take a lot of energy and time. If you're working 8 hours a day and don't have a lot of time to give to a pet, this will be one of the best that you can have. The best pet bird for a busy person will be a lower maintenance pet bird.
If your wish is for something that will take some time and effort but will eventually interact with you and be companions as opposed to simply something to watch and enjoy, then you're going to want to select one of the larger variety and work with it consistently to get it to do its tricks and learn to speak. If you do have time, and wish to find this kind of pet relationship then a larger variety is the best pet bird for your situation.

Take your feline to the vet immediately if he is hit by a car, poisoned, shot, has any serious burns or bites, is attacked by an animal, or has any of the following:
- a deep cut or wound that will not stop bleeding
- A pus filled wound and a fever
- a temperature over 105 degree Fahrenheit
- an eye injury
- bloody diarrhea or vomit
- broken bones or tail
- paralysis
Your vet can recommend a book devoted to first aid care for cats that covers any possible scenario (such as how to set a broken bone or what to do if your cat is choking), but here are some first aid basics for all pet owners:
- Keep a well stocked first aid kit in an accessible location in your home. The kit should include adhesive tape, gauze pads, cotton balls or swabs, a rectal thermometer, petroleum jelly, mineral oil, topical antibiotic ointment, tweezers, hydrogen peroxide, and a small thick towel.
- Put the name, address, phone number, and directions to the vet's office or 24 hour emergency clinic near the telephone. Make sure that all family members know where it is.
- Learn how to perform CPR and mouth to mouth resuscitation on a cat (and kitten). Ask your vet to do this safely so that you do not accidentally harm your pet.

Some exotic pet owners give their pets names that are specific to the natural environment or habitat in which they originally came from. This is especially nice if your exotic pet came from a tropical or other interesting location that most people do not even know about. You can also name your pet after an element that is found in their natural habitat. There are plenty of ideas for exotic pet names if you want to take your time and put thought into it.
Other popular ideas stem from naming your exotic pet after an important historical figure that you admire, or a childhood hero that you have always looked up to. Some also choose favorite vacation spots or pastimes that remind them of happy times in their life. Exotic pets deserve exotic pet names, and really the only limitation to what you can name your pet is the limits of your creativity and imagination.
If you need some help in naming your exotic pet, there are resources online that you can check out, or you can also pick up a book on your type of exotic pet to help get some ideas. The pet store where you purchased your exotic pet from can also have some good ideas to help get you started on the naming of your pet.
Be sure that whatever you choose for the name, you base it on whether the pet is trainable or not. If it is a trainable pet, you want to limit the syllables in the name to only one or two. Anymore than that and the pet can get confused trying to learn commands and have problems telling the difference from their name and other words. If your pet is not a trainable pet, than the options are wide open.
Make sure that you are comfortable with the name you give your pet and feel good about using it for years to come. Some people pick silly names that are funny at first, but when it comes to tell people what the name of their exotic pet is, they tend to get a little embarrassed. Make sure that you put enough thought into the naming of your exotic pet and choose a name that fits them exclusively. Some people find that naming the exotic pet something related to their breed helps other people that are unfamiliar with the pet to identify better with them and know where they come from.
